Carmi Cimicata has been interested in art and crafts for over thirty
years as both a student and teacher. She attained a visual arts degree from Ryerson University that provided a formal foundation
for her art pursuits. Upon graduating from Ryerson, Carmi founded
BACCHUS and The Student Life Education Company; a highly recognized charity for young Canadians where she was executive director for sixteen years. She credits the
charity experience for inspiring her to create handmade inexpensive promotional and educational materials. Carmi believes
you can be cost conscious and effective while still making items that are elegant and professional.
